Daily Itinerary

Day 1
November 6		 Depart Toronto on Air Canada’s non-stop flight for Beijing.
Day 2
November 7		 Arrive in Beijing. Meet and greet at the airport and transfer to your 5 star Westin Hotel Beijing. Evening on your own.
Day 3
November 8		 Full buffet breakfast. Depart on your morning tour of Tian’anmen Square and the Forbidden City. Experience an authentic Rickshaw ride in the Hutong District and have lunch with a local family. Return to hotel.
Day 4
November 9		 Full buffet breakfast. Depart for a full day of shopping at the Pearl Market! Transportation included. Late Afternoon-Optional personal Tailor fittings for those who wish to have something made! Evening – Group dinner.
Day 5
November 10		 Full buffet breakfast. Depart for a full day excursion to the Great Wall of China and the Summer Palace. Lunch is included at a local Chinese artist factory.
Day 6
November 11		 Full buffet breakfast. Depart for a full day of shopping at the Silk Market! Transportation included. Early Evening – Final Tailor fittings. Evening – Participate in ballroom dancing under the stars at a local park.
Day 7
November 12		 Full buffet breakfast. Day to leisure on your own. Maybe take a trip to the famous Beijing Zoo to see the Pandas or take a personal tour through the Olympic sites. You might want to relax at the hotel and take advantage of their first class on site spa facilities. Evening – Enjoy a Chinese Acrobatic show.
Day 8
November 13		 Full buffet breakfast. Morning to walk the famous Wangfujing street…the only commercial pedestrian street in Beijing, lined with stores catering to all fashion tastes. Afternoon – Experience the Panjiayuan market, where you will find unique Chinese folk art pieces.
Evening – Farewell to Beijing group dinner for Peking Duck (and so much more!).
Day 9
November 14		 Full buffet breakfast. Morning to relax. Afternoon – Depart Beijing for Toronto.

Pricing and Booking Procedures

Toronto Departure Price: $2,799.00 per person/double occupancy, taxes additional.
Single Supplement: $649.00
Land Only Price: $1,599.00
Chinese visa costs extra.

  • Payment Schedule: $500 non-refundable deposit at time of booking prior to September 8. Balance due October 6th, 2009.
  • Prices: All prices are quoted in Canadian dollars. Airline taxes and fuel surcharges are subject to change.
  • Cancellation: Notice of cancellation must be confirmed to Travel by Design - Ruse Travel in writing stating the reason for cancellation. Prior to September 8th or when deposit paid.
  • Trip Insurance: Travel by Design - Ruse Travel strongly urges passengers to purchase comprehensive insurance prior to departure. If declined, passengers will be asked to sign a written waiver. Insurance costs will be provided at time of booking. Cost will depend on passenger’s age-requirements.
  • Travel Documentation: Passenger is responsible for obtaining, at her own expense, all required documentation to enter China (Passport and Chinese Visa required).
